Karen Harris

Founder / C.E.O.

Karen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Living, Inc. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. Her specialty was occupational therapy/physical rehabilitation and rehabilitation services education and administration. She is currently completing dissertation work for her PhD in Infant and Early Childhood Development through Fielding Graduate University with a specialty in treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders and early infant and childhood disorders.

From 1978 through 1989, Karen worked in the Detroit Medical Center—first as a staff therapist, program development specialist, coordinator of university student programs, assistant director, and finally as the Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In 1992, she started Integrated Living to provide residential housing and care for people with developmental disabilities in community-based homes.

Ryan King

Director of Finance

Ryan has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in accounting from Oakland University, and achieved CPA status in 2016. He has experience working with the SED (severely emotionally disturbed) adolescent program with Integrated Home Help Services—an affiliate of Integrated Living.

He has worked in the corporate office of Integrated Living since 2010. Ryan oversees the Billing Department, and works closely with the Founder/CEO to manage all accounting, finances and budgeting functions of the agency.

Paul DeJonckheere

Human Resources Manager

Paul has a Master of Science degree in Human Resources as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Paul has years of experience in Human Resources in multiple industries, which allows him the ability to refine and coordinate our staffing needs, training, and disciplinary and performance review procedures.

Paul has worked in the corporate office of Integrated Living since February 2014. As the Human Resources Manager, he oversees the onboarding process, ensures that Integrated Living staff stay up-to-date on local, State and Federal employment laws, helps coordinate employee benefits, as well as the upkeep of current employee training requirements and policies and procedures. Paul also works closely with the Founder/CEO, advising her on all employee issues as well as changes in employment law.

Rachel Cormany

Business Manager

Rachel began working for Integrated Living in 2003 as a part-time high school co-op student. She continued her education at Baker College and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has been a full-time employee in the administrative office since 2008.

Rachel is the Business Manager and has many years of experience in working closely with our management team and field staff. Rachel assists with many aspects of the Agency including human resources, banking, corporate vehicles, home maintenance, and fundraising.

Kelly Hambaum

HR Professional

Human Resources and Macomb County Community Mental Health and Area Agency on Aging Program Coordinator, joining the leadership team at Integrated Living in 2016.

Kelly graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Resources Development. Kelly came to Integrated Living with over eight years of experience in the medical field.

She began working in the corporate office for Integrated Living in 2016. Kelly is responsible for identifying qualified staff for various services and programs within the Agency, coordinating initial hiring as well as the orientation process and ongoing support for new field employees.

Aimee Grant

Billing and Quality Assurance Professional

Aimee has worked in the corporate office of Integrated Living since 2016. Aimee graduated from Lake Superior State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and double major in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Homeland Security. Aimee has a year of experience working with the SED (severely emotionally disturbed) adolescent program with Integrated Home Help Services- an affiliate of Integrated Living.

Aimee works in the Agency billing department, billing for services as well as insuring quality assurance with documentation of services provided through Macomb County Community Mental Health, the Area Agency Aging 1-B, and the MI CHOICE home care program

Sara Harris

Administrative Assistant

Sara Harris began working with Integrated Living, Inc. in 2011. She works part-time while pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems at Oakland University, with plans to complete her education with a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management. Sara assists with operations in the accounting/finance department at Integrated Living, Inc. along with various day to day operations of the Agency.
